College Transfer Credits
Our Office of Academics works closely with the admissions team to evaluate transcripts in a timely manner so that you can know which credits you have already earned will transfer toward one of our degree programs. The number of credits WCBC can accept is dependent on several factors. Some of the most consequential include the academic rigor of the credits you have earned, the grade you earned for each class, and the alignment between the credits you have earned and the credits required for your chosen WCBC degree program. The Office of Academics strives to complete all credit transfer evaluations within 7-10 business days.
To request an evaluation of your credit transfer eligibility, submit your transcript below. Unofficial transcripts may be submitted for review, but any evaluation will be unofficial until the final, official transcripts are received. Once evaluated, the Office of Admissions will send the results to both you and your admissions guide.

FAQs
How long it takes transfer students to earn a degree from WCBC can vary drastically. Once you have received an official transcript evaluation from the Office of Academics and have been accepted to WCBC, an academic advisor will work with you to identify your personalized path forward. However, all graduates must earn at least 25% of their credits from WCBC.
The Office of Academics will be glad to review your transcripts in order to help you determine which credits can be transferred. Unofficial transcripts can be used for an unofficial evaluation. Because different degree programs have different requirements, an evaluation is particularly useful when you have chosen an intended degree option (or two). If you have not already done so, click here to explore the degrees WCBC offers.
WCBC does not have a different application process for transfer and new students. Because of this, all incoming, undergraduate students should apply through the standard process. The credit transfer process is the same whether the college credits were earned as a college-only student or as a dual-enrolled high school student. Simply request a credit transfer evaluation at any time during your evaluation or application process.
The Office of Academics collaborates with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, WCBC’s accrediting agency, and other teams to ensure the academic quality of our programs. WCBC will not accept any credits that were earned with a grade of C- or below. In addition, it is not uncommon for the Registrar to request the syllabi of courses shown on a transcript to better understand the academic rigor which was required. This is particularly true if the credits were earned at an institution that is not accredited or from which WCBC is not regularly asked to accept credits.
The Office of Admissions works hard to provide accurate, highly-personalized guidance to all prospective WCBC students, and we would love to talk. Call or text an admissions guide at 661.946.2274, email admissions@wcbc.edu, or click here to connect.
