Completed in 2023, the Kid City Building at Lancaster Baptist Church is a 33,000 SF facility designed to train the next generation with God's Word. It features 24 spacious classrooms for children aged 14 months to 6th grade, each with interior windows, and a 200-seat assembly room with a large LED wall. The lobby boasts a large hand-painted mural and a functional marquee sign. The building includes 10 self-check-in locations, a grand stairway, technology capabilities in all rooms with 30 flat-screen displays, individual restrooms in downstairs preschool classrooms, a two-story indoor play structure, wide corridors with expanded classroom entry locations, ample storage, new roofing and HVAC system, a designated safety monitoring room, secure exterior doors, themed decor and furniture in each room, high capacity restrooms, an updated fire control system, county sewer connection, a freshly painted exterior, a 20’ wide heated and well-lit connector with overhead trellis and glass wind-screens, automatic entry doors on the WC, updated pedestrian lighting, landscaping, and a raised planter displaying a stone memorial.
