History of Civilization 1

This course presents a general survey of civilization from the earliest records through the sixteenth century. Taught chronologically, the course will include a discussion of the major political, economic, intellectual, social, and religious forces which have influenced the development of civilization from the beginning of time through the 1500s. Emphasis will be placed on the impact of Christianity upon the world, and life lessons with scriptural applications from history will be incorporated throughout the course. Prerequisite: None
